Today, we should talk about the use of interactive methods of training, which encourage interest in the profession; promote the efficient acquisition of training material; form patterns of conduct; provide high motivation, strength, knowledge, team spirit and freedom of expression; and most importantly, contribute to the complex competences of future specialists.

The main aim of the course is to give an overview of the modern teaching methods with a strong potential to form the competences of future professionals; to provide guidance in designing dynamic and interactive lessons through the use of role games, simulations and case studies to improve trainer’s competences.

The course comprises 5 Days:

1st day:

  • Teaching Techniques – an overview: Introduction to the course: “Innovative teaching Techniques” – group rules Moderational Discussion: What is the role of the trainer. What he/she has to know. What should he/she be able to do. Conclusions and recommendations from the participants
  • Choosing the structure and type for the theme of the training - design and focus. Principles. Planning and preliminary preparation
  • Building presentation skills. Methods and techniques in interactive training. Practical skills to conduct training. Facilitation and analysing skills of exercises in role-playing, case studies, simulations. Best practice exchange and map of training needs for the course
  • 2nd day:

  • Interactive teaching and learning techniques or how to make your lesson interesting
  • Basic rules for the application of practical skills to conduct a training. Rules for successful creation of simulations. Individual work to create interactive and innovative tools. Preparation of personal presentation and presentation to the participants and receiving feedback from the trainer. Guide to the Galaxy trainer - formulate rules in the group for conducting training. Rules for storytelling

  • Ability to ask open and closed questions. Errors and defence mechanisms in communication process. Exercising sensuous listening. Exercising active listening techniques. Exercising techniques for questioning, listening
